Stanley A. Meyer has more than four dozen credits as a scenic designer/production designer/Illustrator that have earned him numerous awards and nominations including an American Theatre Wing Design Award nomination, a New York Outer Critics Circle Award nomination, a National Broadway Theatre Award nomination, The League of American Theatres and Producers, National Broadway Award Winner, Los Angeles Ovation Award Nomination, THEA Award winner-Best Outdoor Nighttime Spectacular Peter Pan’s Neverland at Universal Studios Japan, IAPPA Brass Ring Award winner-Best Outdoor Daytime Spectacular for SeaWorld’s Blue Horizons – a stadium show that features a cast of dolphins, whales, birds, trainers, acrobats, and divers which can be seen both in Orlando and San Diego, numerous Los Angeles Drama Logue Awards for his work at the Grove Shakespeare Festival in Southern California and most recently the 2014 Presidents Trophy for his float design featured in the Pasadena, California Tournament of Roses Parade seen worldwide on New Years day. 

When first starting out as a young designer in NYC in the late 80’sStan designed The Marriage of Bette and Boo, Cloud 9, & The Manhattan Punchline Theatre’s Festival of One Act Comedies all on Theatre Row as well as The Secret Garden for Theatre Works USA, his first Union job.  His critically acclaimed work includes the International Sensation Disney’s Beauty and the Beast (the sixth longest running show in Broadway history & the fourth longest running show in Japan); The world premiere of Elton John and Tim Rice’s Aida, The Alliance Theatre, Atlanta; Treasure Island, A New Musical, Arkansas Repertory Theatre; The Southeast Asia tour of Barbie Live!,  EMSand the new spectacular 2014 version of the Ringling Brothers Barnum and Bailey Circus entitled Legends!, Feld Entertainment, Inc.; Busch Gardens Williamsburg’s new Rollercoaster, Verbolten!, InMotion Entertainment; Busch Gardens Williamsburg’s New Musical Spectaular London Rocks! Directed by Sam Buntrock; Alice Cooper’s 2007 & 2009 World Tour & 2010 Theatre of Death Tour; The Steve Miller Band 2010 Bingo!
