Steve Miller Band
2010 Bingo! Tour
2012 World Tour
2014 Tour (with Journey)

Designing three unique tours for the Steve Miller Band was an incredible creative journey that allowed me to merge artistic vision with the practical demands of touring music productions. Working alongside director Rob Roth and the legendary Steve Miller himself (who was remarkably kind and collaborative), I created environments that complemented his musical artistry while solving the unique challenges of concerts that needed to be set up and broken down daily across multiple venues.
For the "Bingo" tour, I designed a stunning "Guitar Swirl Hurricane" featuring digital images of Steve's actual guitar collection spiraling through space, accompanied by a massive Fender guitar with illuminated strings that could dance to the music. The "Ears" tour featured a dramatic fretboard with vinyl record "ears" that created a striking visual frame for the performances. My final design for the "Pegasus" tour transformed Steve's iconic "Book of Dreams" album artwork into two magnificent aluminum sculptures covered in iridescent glitter—a controversial choice until the crew saw how magically they captured and refracted the stage lighting!
